AUGUST 29TH-SEPTEMBER 4TH, moving the couch
The only thing I hate doing more than losing is quitting. Losing, aside from times when I am in direct competition with other people is subjective. And it’s often out of my hands. Quitting is a decision that I make and I hate being in the position where I make it. This past saturday, I was tasked to move a couch from the Upper East Side to my Harlem apartment via train. The couch was on the third floor on an elevator-less building and about a mile walk from the closest station. The transfer point was Times Square Station. It was a hot day. Nothing felt better than putting that sofa in my living room. I felt like a winner because I didn’t quit just because it was hard. I love winning.
